Many different outings are available to discover our numerous prestigious sights: the famous bridge in Avignon and the beautiful old cobbled streets leading to the Palais des Papes, the bull fighting arena in Arles - where of course Van Gogh sought so much of his inspiration, and the Maison Carrée in Nîmes. All the monuments are of sublime architecture - The Pont du Gard is a beautifully renovated, historical roman aqueduct listed by Unesco, and of course Uzès, with its famous market square, where part of Cyrano de Bergerac was filmed.
